THANKFUL FOR YOU IN OUR LIVES

We know that times are still strange and we are all adjusting to what seems to be our new "normal". We just want you all to know that we appreciate your friendship, love and business as we enter this holiday season. Although things may look a little different than our usual holiday celebrations we still celebrate and give thanks to each and every one of you. Our Thanksgiving was small and cozy, just me, mom, dad, and my grandmother and aunt who live with us. We missed the rest of our family, but want to do our part in ensuring everyone's safety and well being. Luckily, my siblings, Lexie and Addison got to spend the holiday together in Pittsburgh. We hope you are all in good health and spirits and again can not express enough of our gratitude for your business during this time. We are here for you and hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving with a little more appreciation for the little things this year.

Restaurant Review

As indoor eating comes to a halt once again, its super important to continue to support our local businesses. Remember dining places are still open for takeout and outdoor seating! As the weather gets colder, the more inclined I am to crave some warm ramen. Came across, Gonzo Ramen while looking on Yelp and we were not disappointed. Located in the village of Downtown Carlsbad, they do have outdoor dining and if you are looking to order ahead and pick up, they pack all the ramen super well so it is still hot and fresh when you get home and enjoy. Below is a link to their direct website, enjoy.

Workout of the Month

No equipment needed!

1 mile walk/jog/run

20 mountain climbers
20 air squats
20 push ups
REPEAT EXERCISES 3x through then...

1 mile walk/jog/run

Try to do this workout once a week. Time yourself from start to finish each time trying to match or beat your time from the previous week! Let's keep moving this holiday season!

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving dinner is served!

We spent our Thanksgiving Day with a nice workout in the morning and just finished up some house projects before we began our cooking. My mom made an amazing spread with turkey (of course) and all the essential Thanksgiving sides. We of course couldn't end the night without some pumpkin pie and a night cap. Although the gathering was much smaller than usual we were grateful to be able to spend time together in our newly finished backyard around the fire place. What are some new traditions you developed this Thanksgiving holiday?

Cheers!

Distanced Holiday Fun

Doesn't seem like caroling will be on many peoples to do list this year. Just like the rest of 2020 Zoom can be used in full effect this holiday season. Although we may not to be physically around all our families and friends during this time, there are plenty of ways to stay connected. Of course we can use FaceTime and Zoom calls to interact virtually for holiday events. Some other ways to enjoy socially distanced holiday time could be sending short videos or voice memos to stay in the loop. You can create a little holiday box of things to do, like build a gingerbread house, make your own ornaments, or a holiday recipe and leave it on a loved ones door step for them to enjoy some holiday fun.

Black Friday Fun

Although our usual Black Friday Friendsgiving Party could not happen this year due to COVID -19, we were still able to enjoy some time with our family friends. Dad went on a socially distant day on the golf course while mom and some of the girls went for a nice day downtown for some lunch and some Black Friday deals shopping spree.

As we enter Holiday Season, let us all be conscious of each other feelings and respect one another's opinions and beliefs.  All men and women are created equally and it is our paths and cards that are dealt to us that determine many of our decisions and opinions of others.  I believe that Kindness and Love conquers a multitude of ill feelings and resentment.  I also believe that the more good and kindness that is spread throughout the world will make our world for us and our children a better place.  Please join me by consciously providing one random act of kindness to your family, your friends or a stranger each day until the end of the year.  If this act of kindness spreads, let us take a new temperature of our community, our state, our nation and the world.  Thank you as always for reading and hearing what Amanda and I have to share or say.  Stay safe and positive and test negative.  With kindness and love, Glenn & Amanda Domingo, Your Agency for a Lifetime.
